堀越千秋へのオマージュ

ユリア・バレンシアと堀越千秋の友人たちによる、鬼石の街を巡る小さな行列。葬送であり、祝祭でもあるその歩みのなかで、大地へと深く沈み込むフラメンコと、日本とアンダルシアのあいだに漂う無重力の感覚が出会い、互いを引き立て合います。

A small procession through the streets of Onishi, half funeral half celebration, where tempo and gestures build through repetition a dialogue with what is no longer there. The walk wants to elevate and root each body, the slow pull of flamenco that sinks into the earth and weightlessness that dissolves upward. An encounter between the suspended and the rooted, in the same way that Chiaki Horikoshi felt the meeting of Japan and Andalusia, not as opposites but as complements.
