エリアナ・ゴメスは自身のソロ作品に加え、ケン・ウエノとの共同制作による、鬼石のための新作サイトスペシフィック・パフォーマンスを発表します。

本プロジェクトでは、音と身体の動きが交わる領域を通して、「時間」「記憶」「持続」というテーマを探求します。ウエノは陶製の茶碗を共鳴する楽器として用い、声による即興演奏を行い、ゴメスは舞踏の手法を用いて身体表現を構成します。

このパフォーマンスは、会場の空間や歴史と対話することを目的としており、その場の雰囲気や積み重ねられた記憶を作品に取り込みながら展開されます。

Alongside her solo work, Eliana Gómez is creating a new, site-specific performance in collaboration with Ken Ueno, designed especially for Onishi. The project explores the intersection of sound and movement to examine time, memory and persistence. While Ueno will perform live, using ceramic bowls as resonating instruments and vocal improvisation, Gomez will choreograph the movement using the Butoh style. The performance is intended to be an open dialogue with its setting, incorporating the atmosphere and history of the venue.
