１９７９年栃木県生まれ。幼いころより絵を描く。大学では上代文学を専攻。緻密で写実的な絵を描き、東京在住時は多くの個展を開催。足利の山の麓での仮寓を経て鬼石へ。十一屋（現・シロオニアートセンター）のトチの木に思いを寄せて催した「トチに」は代表的プロジェクト。


かんな秋のアート祭り芸術監督

Born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1979. Began drawing at an early age. Majored in Ancient Japanese Literature at university. Known for detailed and realistic paintings, Watanabe held numerous solo exhibitions while living in Tokyo. After a temporary stay at the foot of a mountain in Ashikaga, moved to Onishi. “Tochi ni”, a representative project, was held with thoughts on the Japanese horse chestnut tree (tochi) at Jyuichiya (now Shiro Oni Art Center).
