ブルガリア出身のアーティスト、ターニャ・ヴァルバノヴァが、鬼石の皆さんを陶芸の茶碗（Chawan）を用いた参加型アート体験へと招きます。

本プロジェクトは、茶碗を手に取り、五感を通してじっくりと向き合う体験型の作品です。言葉による説明ではなく、知覚や感覚、そして佇まいを通して技や精神を受け継ぐ日本の伝統的な陶芸の徒弟制度に着想を得ています。「言葉では伝えられないものを、私たちはどのように理解するのか。」その問いを出発点に、参加者は時間をかけて一つの茶碗に触れ、重みや質感、温度、手触りの変化に意識を向けます。ゆっくりと向き合うことで、器は少しずつ自らを語り始め、言葉では捉えきれない知識や記憶、そして存在そのものが立ち現れてきます。触覚と時間を手がかりに、「理解する」とは何かを静かに見つめ直す体験へ、ぜひご参加ください。

Bulgarian artist Tanya Varbanova invites residents of Onishi to participate in an experience where they can hold and explore a ceramic tea bowl (chawan). Drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese pottery apprenticeship methods, in which knowledge is imparted through perception, character and presence rather than verbal explanation, this project poses the question: How do we understand what cannot be spoken? The workshop encourages participants to slow down and observe how an object reveals itself through touch, weight and texture over time.
