私たちの祭りは、ひとつの共通の理念によって結ばれた多様な声のチームによって形作られています。日本の田舎で新たな祭りを創り上げるには、信頼と配慮、そして協力が不可欠であり、私たちのチームはまさにそれを体現しています。私たちは異なる職業、地域、文化的背景から集まっていますが、互いを尊重し、共感し、好奇心を持って共に働いています。私たちをつなぐのは、鬼石町への深い愛情です。この町を私たちの故郷と呼び、これからも共に形作っていく場所なのです。
芸術には、文化や世代、生き方の間にかけ橋を築く力があります。この信念が私たちの全ての活動の指針です。鬼石町は小さな町ですが、豊かな芸術の歴史を持ち、創作活動の拠点として選ぶ創造的な人材を引き寄せ続けています。私たちのチームは、この創造的なエネルギーを育みながら、町内と町を越えた新たな繋がりの道を開くことに尽力しています。
Our festival is shaped by a team of many voices, brought together by a single shared idea. Creating a new festival in a rural area of Japan requires trust, care, and collaboration, and our team reflects exactly that. We come from different professions, regions, and cultural backgrounds, but we work side by side with respect, empathy, and curiosity. What connects us is our deep affection for the town of Onishi, a place we call home and continue to create together.
Art has the power to build bridges—between cultures, generations, and ways of life—and this belief guides everything we do. Although Onishi is a small town, it carries a strong artistic history and continues to attract creative minds who choose it as the center of their practice. Our team is committed to nurturing this creative energy while opening new paths for connection within and beyond the town.

Takada is a community-based changemaker and a key member of the Onishi Art Festival. Together with the new Artistic Director, she begins a new chapter after a decade of dedication. Manu SHIMA 志馬・シレ

Manuel Schilcher is an Austrian artist and designer whose career bridges media art, research and exhibition design. Following his studies at the University of Art and Design in Linz, he co-directed the Ars Electronica Futurelab during its inaugural years. His international experience includes a three-year residency in New York, working with pioneering institutions like The Thing and The Kitchen.
His academic contributions as a PhD researcher extend beyond design to projects in Germany, Taiwan, and Japan. He has also taught at several prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Cooper Union, and various universities in Austria.In Linz, he co-directed the artspace Transpublic and served as an editor for the cultural magazine XING. In 2005, he established the design office argeMarie. With his co-workers he created a portfolio of over 30 professional exhibitions for national museums, international galleries, and the World Expo. This led to the State Design Award Austria in 2019. Since 2019 he operates a studio in Onishi, Japan and since 2025 in Brig, Switzerland.
マヌエル・シルヒャーは、メディアアート、研究、展示デザインを横断する活動を行うオーストリアのアーティスト兼デザイナーである。リンツ芸術デザイン大学での学業を終えた後、アルス・エレクトロニカ・フューチャーラボの設立初期に共同ディレクターを務めた。国際的な経験としては、ニューヨークでの3年間のレジデンス滞在があり、その間、「The Thing」や「The Kitchen」といった先駆的な機関と協働した。
博士課程の研究者としての学術的貢献は、デザインの枠を超え、ドイツ、台湾、日本でのプロジェクトにも及んでいる。また、ニューヨーク大学（NYU）のティッシュ・スクール・オブ・ザ・アーツ、クーパー・ユニオン、およびオーストリアの複数の大学など、世界中の名門教育機関で教鞭をとってきた。リンツでは、アートスペース「トランスパブリック」の共同ディレクターを務め、文化誌『XING』の編集者も務めた。2005年にはデザイン事務所「argeMarie」を設立した。同僚たちと共に、国立美術館、国際的なギャラリー、万国博覧会向けに30件以上の専門的な展示を手掛け、その実績が評価され、2019年にはオーストリア国家デザイン賞を受賞した。2019年からは日本の大西に、2025年からはスイスのブリグにスタジオを構えている。
川島 一恵 Motoe KAWASHIMA

群馬県富岡市を拠点に活動。分断や孤立として認識される事象の奥に潜む見えない連関に関心を持つ。一見すると切り離され ている存在や記憶、時間や空間が、実は複雑な網の目のように結びついている。その気配を、ド ローイング、切り絵、インスタレーションによるモノクロームの表現を通して探っている。 幼い頃から神楽舞に親しんできた彼女は、アニタ・ガラッツァの作品を身に着けてパフォーマン スを行ったことをきっかけに、身体表現と視覚芸術の境界を越える実験的な動きの実践を探求し 始めた。
Based in Tomioka City, Gunma, Motoe Kawashima is interested in the invisible connections that lie beneath phenomena often perceived as separation or isolation. Entities, memories, times, and spaces that appear disconnected are, in fact, interwoven through complex networks of relationships. Through monochromatic expressions using drawing, paper-cutting, and installation, she explores traces of these hidden connections.
Having been familiar with Kagura dance since childhood, Kawashima began exploring experimental movement practices that transcend the boundaries between bodily expression and visual art after performing while wearing works by Anita Gratzer.

盛岡夕美子 / 宮下智 ：アンビエントのパイオニア、作曲家、そしてアルチザン
盛岡夕美子（もりおか ゆみこ）は、クラシックの素養を持つ日本のピアニスト、作曲家であり、数十年にわたるキャリアの中で国境やジャンルを超えて活動してきた環境音楽（アンビエント・ミュージック）のパイオニアです。1987年、盛岡は自身の名盤***『Resonance』***を発表します。当初は日本のドキュメンタリー番組、クリニック、ヒーリングショップなどでひっそりと流されていたこのアルバムは、時代のなかに埋もれつつも、やがて新世代のグローバルなリスナーによって再発見されることになります。そして2020年、Métron Recordsから待望のリイシュー（再発）が果たされたことで、『Resonance』は彼女をアンビエント・ミュージックの基盤を築いた先駆者として確固たる地位に押し上げました。
また、盛岡の歩みは、凄まじいレジリエンス（不屈の精神）の物語でもあります。長年アメリカで暮らしていましたが、2017年のカリフォルニア大規模山火事により、自宅、音楽機材、そして過去の貴重な音源アーカイブのすべてを失うという悲劇に見舞われました。日本へ帰国後、彼女は東京で職人技が光るチョコレートショップを開き、自らの手で人生を再構築しました。
Born in Tokyo, Yumiko Morioka is a Japanese pianist, composer, and chocolatier. A child prodigy, she studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (1974–1978) under composer John Adams. Returning to Tokyo, she released the landmark 1987 ambient album Resonance, recorded on a Bösendorfer grand piano. While initially niche, its serene "environmental music" (kankyō ongaku) became a staple in Japanese healthcare settings. After decades living in the United States, she lost her home in the 2017 California wildfires, a tragedy that prompted her return to Japan.
As of 2025, she enjoys a creative resurgence when she moved to Onishi. There she operates as an artisan chocolatier under the brand name Setagaya Truffle. Musically, she remains active following the 2025 release of Gaiaphilia, a collaborative nature-inspired album with Takashi Kokubo. She also leads the "Music for Fermentation" project, exploring sound's impact on microbes. In July 2026, Yumiko Morioka embarked on a UK tour, performing at a series of exclusive events, culminating in a concert at the Royal Albert Hall London.

Eiko Uemura is a multidisciplinary artist, performer, and visual storyteller born and raised in the historic town of Onishi, Japan. Her contemporary work spans the visual arts, traditional music, and physical theatre, seamlessly bridging Japanese heritage with modern expression. As a visual artist, Eiko captures the unseen energy of people, objects, and places, translating their essence into vibrant canvases. She also specializes in textile restoration, meticulously transforming stains and imperfections on traditional kimonos into stunning, custom-designed patterns. Deeply rooted in her hometown's performing arts scene, Eiko combines powerful rhythms with intense physical discipline. Notably, she wrote and starred in the self-produced film The Wizard's Disciple, a cinematic project dedicated to Onishi. Through art, rhythm, and performance, Eiko continues to celebrate and innovate Japanese tradition.
歴史ある群馬県鬼石町に生まれ育った植村映子は、視覚芸術、伝統音楽、フィジカル・シアターなど、多彩な領域を横断する学際的なアーティストであり、パフォーマー、そしてビジュアル・ストーリーテラーです。日本の伝統に深く根ざしながら、現代的な表現で新たな息吹を吹き込んでいます。 視覚アーティストとしての彼女は、人、モノ、場所が持つ「目に見えないエネルギー」を捉え、その本質を鮮やかなキャンバスへと描き出します。また、テキスタイルの修復を専門とするアーティストでもあり、大切な伝統的な着物のシミや傷みを、緻密で美しい独自の文様へと生まれ変わらせる、モダンな着物アップサイクルを手がけています。 さらに、地元の舞台芸術シーンにも深く関わり、力強いリズムと肉体表現を融合させたパフォーマンスを展開。自身がプロデュース・主演を務めた、故郷・鬼石町を舞台とする映画『魔法使いの弟子（The Wizard's Disciple）』でも異彩を放っています。アート、リズム、そしてパフォーマンスを通じて、植村は日本の伝統文化と現代のクリエイティブな表現の架け橋となり続けています。
